French born fashion and commercial photographer Sylvain Von K moved to Los Angeles after graduating from "Les Compagnons du Devoir", majoring in design and interior design. It is back then while working on the aesthetic side of objects and spaces that he discovered a passion for photography; understanding the importance of light to sublimate a creation on display. But it was only a few years later when given an opportunity by a renowned model that he took his first step into fashion photography.
His mastery of light which he uses as a sculpting tool more than just a light source propelled his career in a commercial and fashion industries. Within a few months he was shooting catalogs and editorial back-to-back. In 2008, a year after his first fashion shoot, at only 25 years old, he became photo director for "20 Ans Magazine."
Since then he has been experimenting and improving his technique in all sorts of artificial and natural lighting, achieving the ability to express his talent and deliver in any given situation.
